Mokslinių straipsnių rinkinyje atsispindi dviejų – patronažo ir mecenatystės – reiškinių koreliacijos: atskleisti nauji šventųjų kulto raiškos Lietuvos kultūroje aspektai, parodyta globėjų gerbimo tradicija, pateikti šventųjų ikonografijos pavyzdžiai ir iki šiol nežinoti dailės mecenatystės faktai.

This collection of scholarly articles reflects the correlations that exist within the phenomenon of patronage: new aspects of the cult of the saints in the culture of Lithuania are revealed, the tradition of the veneration of patrons is illustrated, and the examples of the saints’ iconography and unknown facts of art patronage are presented.
